Very nice staff, clean room, easy to get there with public transport. Close to beach, harbor and shops. Good stay for budget travellers, although I do not recommend it for longer stays because the room and seperate bathroom are really tiny.

I liked the room it was basic but comfortable. It was nearby some bars wich was not so pleasant but that is not a bad thing iff you go to sleep late.I heard some music but far away enough to fall asleep. Wifi was available but I could not get the code in the morning of 21.07.2011 because the place where it supposed to be on the information board was still closed at 08.00 hours as was the receprion, I should have taken the opportunity the day before to copy it from another costumer so the hotel is not to blame. I would like to suggest that as soon people check in yhe code could be given iff they ask for it or not.

Location was good, but not if you want a quiet night.
Rooms are very dated. No soundproofing to keep noise out. Located above pubs and clubs so noise all night.

It was OK - basically clean but our room was pretty tired, the bathroom in particular.

Liked that the hotel is in the centrum and easy to find. The room was also nice and clean.
I read on this website that the room has a bath, but it was just a bathroom with a shower. I missed the bath :)

Ostende is a nice place to spend 24 hours.
But the hotel seemed shabby and uncared for.

The staff member on duty was helpful (and rather good looking, which is always welcome) ;) Although this was the only good thing about the hotel.
The hotel has been refurbished on the ground floor to give it an expensive look, but the floors above are fairly basic, to say the least. The beds were comfortable and clean, but the bathroom, despite being clean enough - stank and used up half of my much loved comme des garcons perfume bottle. An okay-ish stay if you're there for the night but by no means a 3-4 day stopover joint.

reception staff were lovely. room was a bit shabby but served it's purpose. location was good five mins from beach and loads of pubs and restaurants just outside the front door.
Breakfast should be included in the price. We paid extra for it and it was fine. As other reviewers have said, we found the noise from the street below our room very loud as people spilled out of pubs late and music blared so bring a pair of ear plugs and if you're a light sleeper don't book this hotel.

The location is very good, it's close to the beach and also close to the center of the town and to the train station
The quality / price ratio is very low. The hotel is too expensive for it's conditions, services...

The quite room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The type of light in the bathroom. This room could be much nicer and looking fresh, painted in a egg shell white but that's a detail if you go there to have a sleep after a long day.
